Overview

An AI writing companion that thinks alongside you, allowing you to capture ideas, edits, and drafts in one focused space.

The problem

Writing tools that bolt a chat panel onto a document force a constant context switch. Every suggestion arrives as a separate conversation the writer has to translate back into prose.

What I did

• Mapped the writing session as one continuous surface rather than a document plus an assistant.
• Designed an inline suggestion model where edits appear as reversible diffs in place.
• Built the prototype in Nuxt with a streaming edit pipeline and optimistic rendering.

Outcome

Drafting sessions stayed in one window. Testers described the assistance as "quiet", which was the whole point.
