Reimagining the booking flow for a music school, assisting thousands of students in finding the right lessons.
The problem
Booking a lesson took eleven screens and asked for payment details before showing a single available slot.
What I did
- Instrumented the funnel and found two thirds of the loss happened before any teacher was shown.
- Rebuilt the flow around availability first: pick a time, then a teacher, then pay.
- Shipped a shared calendar component covering both the student and the admin side.
Outcome
Drop off fell by roughly half, and support tickets about "where do I see times" went away entirely.
